About Flannel Flower Loft
Flannel Flower Loft is a small creative space run by husband and wife, born from a love of calm, beauty and the quiet moments that let us all exhale. Everything here, our wallpapers, journals, art and more, is made with care, and a real wish for it to be a soft place for you to land.
Why we named it Flannel Flower LoftFlannel Flowers have held a special place in my heart since I was a little girl.I've always been drawn to their velvety softness and the beautiful silvery green of both the petals and leaves. They look so delicate, yet they naturally grow along the rugged coastline of eastern Australia where I grew up.That quiet contrast has always stayed with me.
Gentleness doesn't have to mean weakness.In my twenties, I was given this beautiful chromolithograph of Flannel Flowers as a gift. More than thirty years later, it still hangs on the wall in our bedroom, quietly reminding me of everything I've always loved about them.So, when Greg and I were choosing a name
for our business, it felt like the most natural choice.That feeling has quietly shaped everything we've created ever since.
Whether it's a journal, a piece of artwork, or something else entirely, we hope it offers a gentle reminder that softness and strength can exist together.
Because that's what the Flannel Flower has always represented.
